Task: Produce concept drawings to allow South African company to successfully detail, schedule and install product for the first time.

Approach: Produced typical elevation, plans and details for reference and also to allow calculations. Concept drawings issued to Industry partners for correct specification for ancillary items such as fixings and sealants. Allow Product manufacturer’s technical team to refer to contract specific drawings for all training and handovers.

Result: A successful introduction of a new product to a new client in a new country.

    modular systems project

Task: Take Architect’s concept drawings and re-visit to make modular or panelised systems work around openings and interfaces.

Approach: This is a common problem we encounter, where a product specified isn’t quite understood or is substituted and no longer works to openings, etc. We can correctly set out and propose solutions or drawings for further discussion using and working with most cladding systems available. Dealing with this at concepting stage (as per the MacLeamy curve theory) will reduce abortive costs and time later in the project.
